RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Last updated: September 2026
At Sharon Roses Emporium, we want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy explains our voluntary returns process as well as your statutory consumer rights.
1. Our 15-Day Returns Policy
We offer a 15-day voluntary return period for eligible items where you have changed your mind.
Please contact us within 15 days of receiving your order to request a return.
Where an order is delivered in separate shipments, the 15-day period for the voluntary return policy begins when the final item in the order is delivered.
This 15-day voluntary returns policy does not limit or replace any statutory rights you may have under UK or EU consumer law.
2. Condition of Returned Items
To qualify for our voluntary change-of-mind return service, items must be:
- Unworn and unused
- Unwashed
- In their original condition
- Returned with original tags attached where applicable
- Free from perfume, makeup, stains, pet hair or other marks
- Returned in suitable packaging to protect the item during transit
You may handle an item only as reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functionality. Where permitted by law, we may make a deduction from a refund if an item has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary and its value has been reduced.
3. Return Postage
For change-of-mind returns under our voluntary 15-day returns policy, the customer is responsible for the return postage cost.
We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot be responsible for a return that is lost in transit before it reaches us.
If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us before returning it. We will deal with the return and appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.
4. How to Request a Return
Please contact us before sending any return.
Email: info@sharonrosesemporium.com
Telephone: 07415 868680
Please provide:
- Your order number
- Your name
- The item you wish to return
- The reason for the return
We will provide the appropriate return instructions.
You can also sign in to your customer account to submit an eligible return or cancellation request online: Request a return or cancellation.
5. Return Address
Returns should only be sent to the following address after contacting us and receiving return instructions:
Sharon Roses Emporium
Sharon Wade – Sole Trader
16 Delius Close
Stowmarket
Suffolk
IP14 1TG
United Kingdom
Please do not send a return to this address without contacting us first.
6. Sale Items
Items purchased in a sale are not eligible for our additional voluntary change-of-mind return service.
However, this does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
Your statutory rights continue to apply where an item is faulty, not as described, not fit for purpose, or where you have another legal right to cancel or withdraw from the purchase.
7. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please provide your order number and, where appropriate, photographs showing the problem.
We will assess the issue and provide the appropriate remedy required under applicable consumer law, which may include a refund, repair or replacement.
8. UK Statutory Cancellation Rights
For eligible online purchases, UK consumers generally have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.
After notifying us of cancellation, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Where the statutory cancellation right applies, we will refund the standard delivery charge in accordance with applicable law.
You may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where you have been informed of this before purchase.
Where permitted by law, a deduction may be made if goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality.
9. EU Customers – Right of Withdrawal
Customers in the European Union may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for eligible online purchases.
The withdrawal period begins when the customer, or a person nominated by the customer, receives the goods. Where an order is delivered in separate shipments, the withdrawal period begins when the last item is received.
Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, customers do not need to provide a reason for exercising that right.
The customer is generally responsible for the direct cost of returning goods unless we have agreed otherwise or applicable law requires us to cover the cost.
Nothing in our voluntary 15-day returns policy limits the statutory rights available to EU customers.
10. Refunds
Once an eligible return has been received and assessed, we will process the appropriate refund in accordance with applicable law and this policy.
Refunds are normally made using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
Refunds are issued in accordance with the applicable statutory timeframe. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to make the funds available in your account.
11. No Exchanges
We currently offer refunds rather than direct exchanges.
If you require a different size, colour or item, you can return the eligible item and place a new order separately.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
12. International Returns
For international change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the return postage cost unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Where applicable, customers may also be responsible for customs or import charges associated with returning an item.
We recommend using a tracked return service.
13. Refund Delays
If you believe your refund is overdue, please contact us:
Email: info@sharonrosesemporium.com
Telephone: 07415 868680
Please include your order number so that we can investigate promptly.
14. Your Legal Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or replace any statutory consumer rights that apply to you.
Where applicable law gives you rights that are more favourable than the voluntary return arrangements described above, those statutory rights will apply.
